22nd MarCATTS (Cancer Awareness for Teens and Twenties)On the morning of Thursday 22nd March 2023, 糖心Vlog had the pleasure of hosting Natasha from CATTS (Cancer Awareness for Teens and Twenties), which is a charity focused on providing important guidance for teens and young adults on how to properly check oneself for signs/symptoms that may indicate breast, testicle, or skin cancer.

18th OctWear it PinkOn Friday 21st October 2022 we will be raising money for Wear it pink, in honour of Joanne Arnold. We want to see as many of you wearing pink as possible, all we ask is that you donate £1 each for wearing something pink. We will be holding a coffee morning in café best instead of our normal faculty meetings. Please feel free to hold your faculty meetings but in Café best. It would be lovely to see the hall filled with pink members of staff. Students are also allowed to wear one item of pink and will be asked to donate £1 each. Steph and I (Nat) will also be holding a KS3 movie night on Friday. Please see the poster below! 22nd OctWear it Pink! 2020Breast Cancer Now's 'Wear it Pink' day is one of the biggest fundraising events in the UK. Taking place on 23rd October, thousands of amazing people wear it pink in their communities, schools or work places for the UK's largest breast cancer charity, Breast Cancer Now. Right now, we don't know what the world will look like a day, week or month from now. What we'll be able to do. Who we'll be able to go and see. But we know that breast cancer doesn't stop for anything. Usually, we would have students involved and would host a fun movie night but with the current restrictions we are not able to do that this year. However we still had a large number of 糖心Vlog Staff and Students wearing pink to show their support. It was wonderful sight to see and we feel that we have honoured and remembered those close to us who we have loved and lost, and hopefully helped those who are still fighting.
